My Puppy
My Puppy
I was laying on my person's chest, listening to the strong thump of their heart. I had no idea he was already awake, and staring down at me with a loving smile. Without warning I started to stir in my sleep, this happens sometimes. I whimpered, as if I was in pain. My person, tightened their grip on me. "Shh, shh, it's ok puppy." He said, petting my hair. I woke up with a jump, breathing heavily. "Are you ok?" He asked me, with concern. I shook my head, and started to cry. "ohh, come here my puppy." They pulled me into his chest, and held me as I cried. "It's alright, you're safe, I'm here." I relaxed tremendously, and my breathing returned to normal. "There we go, are you feeling better?" I nodded. "Good" We got up, I shifted into my wolf form, to get some running in. Of course my person came with me, we would sit under a tree for a little break. He pets my fur, and scratches my ears. We arrive back home, I shift back but keep my ears out. "you're so cute" they said, rubbing my ears. "hehe" I giggled. We went over to the couch, and snuggled up close to each other. "Hey, um can I ask you do something?" I said a little nervously. "What is it?" He asked. "Could you give me tummy rubs?" I asked, looking away embarrassed. "Of course I can do that!" I smiled, then lifted up my shirt. "your tummy is so soft, and cute." He said while gently rubbing my tummy. "hehe thank you" We stayed like that for awhile, it was so nice. "My good little puppy." I love being called puppy, of course they were the only one I let call me that. The rest of the day, we listened to music, he filmed me while I danced, we had food, and then it was time for bed. After we were all cleaned up, and dressed in our comfy clothes, we were ready for sleep. Only my tummy started to feel funny, it was ok at first. But then it started to really hurt, when I climbed in next to my person, my tummy was really aching bad. "What's wrong puppy?" They asked me. "My tummy hurts." I said with a whimper. "aww my poor puppy, come here." He lifted up my shirt, and started to rub my sore tummy. "Good girl, it's ok." I was getting sleepy, my person noticed this and started to softly hum a song. Just before I closed my eyes, he petted my ears, kissed my cheek, and said: "I love you my puppy, sleep well, your person is here, you're safe." I smiled, and whispered: "I love you too." Then fell into a deep sleep.
The End
