 Just You and Me

I woke up still in their arms, I felt so safe and warm. I could feel him softly stroking my hair, and whispering that they love me. I look up at them, to see his gorgeous brown eyes staring down at me. "hello princess" They said smiling. Still to this day, he was the only one I let call me that. "Hello." I said still sleepy. "You look so pretty in the morning." I blushed, and sat up in bed. "What do you want to do today?" They asked me, still holding me close. "Can I watch you play?" I asked. "this early?" I just nodded. "anything for you." They got up, and pulled out one of his beautiful guitars. "Any requests?" I thought about it, then I knew exactly what I wanted him to play. "Could you please play I love you by Avril Lavigne?" They smiled, and started to strum the melody. I melted when they got to the chorus, "you're so beautiful, but that's not why I love you. I'm not sure you know, that the reason I love you is you, being you, just you." I just sat there, laying on my stomach and kicking my feet. I was so in awe of him, I could watch them play for hours. And their voice? OMG it was so sweet, and soft, the way he sang made my heart flutter. At the end of the song, I flew off the bed, and wrapped my arms around him. Never wanting to let go, they squeezed me back. "You're amazing!" I said. "Hehe thank you princess, I'm happy you liked it." Then without warning, he leans in and kisses me. I kiss them back, knowing I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. "I love you so much." I said, as we laid back down holding hands. "I love you too."
