A Puppy Love Oneshot

There was blood everywhere. I don't remember exactly what happened, I just know I shifted and everything after that is a blur. When I regained my human form, I was very dizzy and disoriented. I looked next to me and there was my girlfriend, with a giant gash in her side. "Baby! Oh my God, what happened?" I was so scared for her, she was very pale and looked like she was gonna pass out. "Stay with me, babygirl, stay with me." I said, as I stroked her hair. "I-it h-hurts." She gasped out. "I know it hurts sweetie, don't worry you're gonna be okay." I picked her up as gently as I could, and took her to my house. I had some experience stitching wounds, ever since I was bitten. I thought it would be useful to learn how, just in case something like this happened. When we arrived, I got my kit and went to work. "There we go, you're all stitched up babygirl." I said giving her a kiss. "T-thank you babe." We rested on the couch, just holding each other. But I needed to know how this happened, so I turn to her and ask "Who did this to you?" She looked away, with a somber expression. I knew I wasn't going to like the answer. "you did." It was only two words, but they felt like a sucker punch to the stomach. "I-I did this?" I asked shakily. She nodded. I pulled her close to me, and I started to cry. "B-baby, I-I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt you." I sobbed, holding her tight but without hurting her more. "I know, babe. You couldn't control yourself." She said, rubbing my arm. "What exactly happened after I shifted?" I asked, I needed answers. "Well...

Flashback-Y/N POV

"ahhhhhh" My boyfriend shrieked as he shifted, I usually loved seeing his wolf form. It was so cute, and he was very beautiful. Only this time was different, his eyes flashed red. He had this rapid look on his face, I was scared! I'm not usually scared when he shifts, but this time I was terrified. "B-babe? Are you okay?" I asked hesitantly. All I got in response was "grrrrr" "Carlos, it's me your girlfriend. I'm not here to hurt you." I said, slowly backing away. Then he lunged at me, I tried to duck but his claws got me right in the side. "Ahhhhhh" I yelled in pain, and fell to the ground holding my side. Then he took off into the woods, when he came back he had shifted back, and there was blood dripping from his mouth. 

End of Flashback Carlos's POV

"I'm so sorry baby, I didn't mean to scare you or hurt you." I said, after hearing everything. "I know you didn't, but it was so not you. I wonder if it had something to do with the new moon?" She said. That got me thinking, maybe it was because of the new moon. "If I ever lose control again, I want you to run okay? I hate seeing you hurt, I hope I never have to again." I said, holding her hand. "I promise, I'll run away as far as I can. But just know, I will always come back to you. I don't care that you have this curse, I just love you for you." My heart melted at those words, how did I get so lucky? "I love you sweetheart, so much! I'm gonna take care of you I promise." I said, kissing her hand. "I love you too babe, so much. I promise to take care of you too." We stayed on the couch with the fire glowing brightly, almost like the universe telling us that we were gonna be okay. "ow" my girl said, as she shifted in my arms. "Your side still hurt my love?" I asked. "Yeah, it's really sore." I smiled sympathetically at her, and went to get her some pain meds and some ice. "Here you go, this should help." After that, I kissed her side. Because it could help her feel better too, you know? No matter what we'll face, I know we'll do it together. Because there's no one I would rather have beside me, all parts of me, wolf or human. The End
