 I'll Take Care Of You

Hey everybody, I haven't been feeling well. It's physical this time instead of emotional, I hate being sick it freaking sucks! So I thought I would write a little sick story. So sit back, relax, and enjoy. 

It was a typical summer morning, or so I thought. I was in bed with my girl, who was still asleep next to me. "she's so beautiful" I thought to myself. I gently moved her hair away from her face, and caressed her cheek. I frowned when I felt how warm she was, and placed my hand on her forehead. I think she had a fever. I gently started to shake her, trying to wake her up. "baby, can you wake up for me?" I asked softly. She groaned and pulled the covers closer to her. "please baby, come on" Eventually she opened those beautiful eyes of hers, and I saw how horrible she was feeling. "I don't feel well babe" she said with pain in her voice. "aww my poor baby" I pulled her to me and softly stroked her hair. "it's okay my precious, I'm here everything will be okay" I told her gently. She gets very worked up sometimes when something isn't right, so I try to calm her down as best I can. I told her to lay back down and I would be back with some things to hopefully help her feel better. When I returned, she was blowing her nose and coughing. I put the stuff down on the nightstand, and wrapped my arms around her until the coughing fit stopped. "ow" she said. My heart broke for her, it sounded painful. "did that hurt baby?" I asked her while rubbing her back. She nodded and buried her head in my chest, and started to cry. "sh sh sh, it's okay love, I'm gonna make it okay" I wiped her tears with a tissue, then got the sick items. I gave her some tea, and a cold pill. She took both of them gratefully and laid down. "not yet baby, let's shoot some of this in your nose." It was a saline shooter, it was supposed to help her not be so blocked. "that actually feels better" she said, before laying down on the bed again. "do you wanna watch something?" She shook her head no. "I just wanna cuddle" I got into bed next to her, and pulled her onto my chest, wrapping my arms protectively around her. She was a little panicky at first, when she's sick she has a hard time sleeping. But eventually she settled down, and feel into a deep sleep on me. I kissed her head, and played with her hair to keep her calm. "get some rest my love, I'll always take care of my girl" Then I fell asleep too. Hoping my sweet girl felt better when she woke up.
