A Wedding

 A Wedding

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the blog! So I watched the Heartstopper show yesterday and it was so amazing!!! It's officially my new favourite show! It's so cute! Which is why I am inspired to write this oneshot fanfic about it! Hope you enjoy!

It was a beautiful England morning, The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and one very special couple was preparing for the biggest day of their lives. Charlie Spring, a young man with curly black hair, blue eyes, and adorable dimples. As he stood in front of the mirror, fixing his tie and hair one last time he couldn't help but smile. Today he was marrying the love of his life. "I'm so lucky." he said to himself. Meanwhile in the room next to Charlie, Nick Nelson a muscluar boy, with redish hair, and freckles, was also putting the finishing touches on his tux. He didn't know he could be so happy, but here he was about to marry the most wonderful boy in the world, it's crazy that they met in high school now here they are years later about to be together forever. "hey Nicky it's almost time to be out there." Sarah Nelson said to her son in the doorway. "okay mum, I'll be out in a sec." Nick took one last look at himself, fixed his hair, and took a deep breath. "okay, this is it! God I'm so happy right now." He said to himself making his way out side to the altar. When the boys saw each other for the first time in their tuxes, they couldn't help but laugh a little, but they also thought the other looked handsome. "well you look like a dork." Charlie said with a laugh. "oh do I now? Well if I look like a dork, then you look like a huge dweeb." They both chuckled, then took each other's hands in their own. "I love you so much." Nick whispered in Charlie's ear. "I love you too." Charlie whispered back. They walked up to the altar, where the justice of the peace was standing. And you won't believe who it is, it's Tao Xu. I know what you might be thinking, but this was all Tao's idea. Before they started, Nick and Charlie looked out at the people sitting around them. All their friends and family showed up to witness this moment, there was a few tears amongst all of them, as well as smiling faces. They were just as excited as the grooms themselves. Once everyone was settled, Tao cleared his throat, and began the ceremony. "dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Nicholas Nelson, and Charles Spring. I believe the happy couple have prepared vows they wish to share with each other." Tao said, and Nick was first to present his vows. "Charlie, before I met you I was just another Rugby playing guy, who was considered the "golden boy" but the day you walked into my life was the best day of my life. I know life has been rough for us, and for you along our road but I wouldn't have traded it for anything. I promise to always be here for you, to hold you, to kiss you, and to help you through whatever is bothering you. I love you Charlie Spring." Tears welled in Charlie's eyes, as he remembered everything about their relationship. From the day they met, to the day they first said they loved each other. "Nick, I liked you the first time I saw you, then when we started hanging out, and playing rugby together, I knew I really liked you. There were some doubts about us, but we overcame them, I just want to thank you for always being here for me when I needed you. You have helped me in so many ways, Nick you are my safe place, and my lover, and my best friend. I love you so much." By now there wasn't a dry eye in the place, even Tao had glossy eyes, which was a surprise because when Nick and Charlie first started hanging out he didn't like Nick. But after some time, he actually liked Nick and was happy that Charlie was in love with such a wonderful person. "do you Charlie, take Nick to be your lawfully wedded husband? through sickness and in health? Til death do you part?" Charlie looked at Nick and knew immediately he wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. "I do." He said with the biggest smile on his face.  "do you Nick, take Charlie to be your lawfully wedded husband? through sickness and in health? Til death do you part?" Nick didn't have to be asked twice. "I do!" he said squeezing Charlie's hands. They exchanged rings, and finally Tao said the words they have been waiting for. "With all the power invested in me, by evenyoucanperformweddings.com, (everyone laughed at that) I now pronounce you Husbands for life! You may kiss the groom!" The boys shared a passionate kiss, and the crowd cheered! During the reception, the boys were as happy as could be. As everyone else danced around, they only had eyes for each other. "So husband, I love saying that, what did you think of our wedding?" Charlie said staring intimatley at his new husband. "Well husband, I love saying it too, I thought it was really beautiful." Nick said through a huge smile. For the rest of the reception, the boys slowly danced around the room, being content in each other's arms. When they returned to their hotel, Nick picked up Charlie, and said what he said all those years ago. "You're my husband, I'm your husband, we're husbands!!!!" Charlie laughed at how silly his husband was. Nick placed Charlie on the bed, and climbed in next to him. "I'm so happy we met, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me." Charlie said holding Nicks hand to his chest. "me too love, me too." Nick said placing a kiss to Charlie's forehead. For the rest of the night, Nick and Charlie slept in each other's arms, knowing that they had the rest of their lives to be together.
