Dancing

 Dancing

Hey everybody! Welcome back to the blog, I can't believe this month is almost over! I am excited for next month, lots of stuff happening! Today I'm talking about dancing, I started taking dance lessons when I was 3 years old. I took highland step dancing, which is done with tap shoes. I did this for about 3 or 4 years, when my family lived in Nova Scotia. When we moved back to Ontario, I still wanted to do dance but I was older then. I was 7 years old when I started doing jazz dancing. I really enjoyed it, I did jazz up till I was 13. That was my last year of taking lessons, I decided to stop lessons because I wasn't interested in doing competitive dancing. I also knew I wasn't going to become a professional dancer, so I stopped. But now I still dance because I enjoy it and I can do it the way I want to. It's also very therapeutic for me, dancing is one of the only times where I feel confident. I lose myself in the music, and just let myself go. It's also fun to act out the songs like I'm in a music video, that is just so relaxing for me. I am very thankful to have this outlet, I don't know what I would do without it.

I hope you all liked this post, the school year is almost over for me so I hope to write more with the time off I will have. Stay tuned!
