The Proposal

 The Proposal

Chris

Will asked me to meet him somewhere. I'm not sure where, but I like it when he surprises me. I'm driving down this old dirt road, not really sure where it leads, I'm just following the directions Will gave me. I finally reach my destination, and stop the car. When I get out, the land around me is beautiful. The sun is shining, the grass is green, there's even a body of water near by. Then I see Will, looking as handsome as ever with a bouquet of roses and a blanket on the ground. "hey there handsome, this place is beautiful." I say as I lean in to kiss him. He smiles into it, and I feel his warm breath on me. "I know, I thought it would be the perfect place for a picnic." He tells me gesturing to the blanket and basket he has set up for us. I beam at him, as sit down, he is the best. "these are for you." he says and hands me the bouquet. "they're beautiful thank you." I say as I smell them, and give him a peck on the nose. We eat the picnic and watch the water, it's so peaceful I feel like I can just relax here. Then once we're done eating, I pull Will onto my lap and start to play with his hair. I'm so glad he decided to let it grow out, It's very soft and fun to twirl around. I look down to see his content face, I smile to myself and think. "how did I get to be so lucky? I never thought I would ever find someone right for me, then this wonderful man shows up and everything makes sense in my life." After awhile of us just laying there, Will sits up and turns to me. "Chris I love you so much, never in my life did I imagine I would find my dream guy. Then you came into my life and made it better. I love you for all that you are, and all that you will be. I am so proud of you, thank you for loving me." His speech makes me cry, and I just hug him so tightly. But he breaks again, and gets down on one knee. My heart starts racing, I know what's happening but still I can't believe it. "Christopher Paul Colfer, will you marry me?" When he opens the box, the ring is beautiful, the tears are falling in earnest now. I put my arms around his neck, and kiss him with so much passion we fall onto each other. "yes, yes, yes! Of course I'll marry you!" I tell him, now we're both crying. As he slips the ring on my finger, I feel so happy. He makes me feel amazing. I can't wait for the rest of our lives together.
