The Bite
The Bite
A Spider-Man Fanfic One-shot
Hello, I wanted to write my interpratation of what the MCU Spider-Man's reaction to the spider bite would be. I've already done this previously, but it sounded too much like the Tobey Maguire spider man movies. This time, I'm gonna have it fit in to what the MCU Spider-Man is like. So let's begin!
We open with Peter and Ned, in study hall. They had just gotten out of class, and decided to go study in one of the empty classrooms. "Dude, that math test was brutal!" Ned, said sitting down. "I don't know, I found it quite easy." Peter said, sitting next to him. "That'e because math comes so naturally to you man." Ned says, with a chuckle. "And now we have another test tomorrow in history." Ned complained. "But Ned, you love history." Peter reminded him. "Oh yeah." Ned said. Peter laughed at his best friend, then opened his history book. Unbeknownst to them, a spider was making it's way down from the ceiling. (Since nobody had cleaned in there recently, and there was cobwebs everywhere) The spider got closer and closer to peter, it landed on his head, and made it's way down to his arm. The spider sank his fangs into Peter's shoulder. "Ouch!" Peter said, holding his shoulder in pain. "Dude what happened?" Ned said. "Oh, um nothing. It just felt like something bit me." Peter said, still rubbing his shoulder. When Peter looked down, he saw the spider. "Dang it that hurt." He whispered, watching the spider crawl away. A little while later, when Peter was back home doing is homework. He started to feel funny. He felt hot and dizzy, his breathing became ragged, and he felt like his whole body was on fire. "What's happening to me?!" He croaked out, terrified. His vision went blurry, and then he blacked out. When he woke up, it was like his senses had been heightened. He could hear every little sound, and smell every little smell. A pencil was sliding off his desk, and just before it could fall, he swiftly scooped it up. "Woah." Peter said, surprised by his sudden quick reflexes. He also felt stronger, and more agile. "This is so weird." He said. Peter had an idea, he decided to try out his new abilities. But he didn't want anyone to know it was him. So he fashioned a costume out of an old sweatshirt and sweatpants. He also manufactured some goggles, to help focus his sight. But he needed something to hold him, while he moved through the city. That's when he got the idea to make a formula for webs, he studied real life spiders to understand the density of their webs, and how to go about the formula. After that, he made some webshooters, and tried a thwip. It worked! He stood on the edge of his building, and swung off. "This is so awesome!" Peter shouted, as he whipped around the city. When he landed, his new special sense went off, and he followed the sound of someone screaming. "Hey, hey you!" Peter shouted at the guy, who was fighting with a poor woman who just wanted to go home. "Stay out of this, you costumed weirdo." The guy said. Peter threw a web at his arms, and pinned him to the wall. "You shouldn't steal, or pester people, it's not nice." Peter said, as he made sure the woman was alright. "Are you okay?" He asked her, and she nodded. "Thank you, uh?" She said. "Spider-Man, call me Spider-Man." He said, before taking off. "Maybe I should do this more often." Peter thought. From that moment on, Peter became known as Spider-Man. A masked hero, keeping the neighborhood safe. (Oh by the way, this all happened before he met Tony)
