Kieran P.O.V.

I was working on a new song for my next album, when I get a text from Emily. It said "Hey babe, can you come into our room?" I wondered what was wrong, so I put down my guitar and notebook and went to see my love. "What's up babygirl?" I said as I came into our room. "I'm in pain." She groaned out. "Oh, what hurts love?" I asked her, as I sat down on the bed. "My cycle started, and I'm cramping so bad." She said, breathing heavily. "My poor girl, don't worry, I've got you." I said, going to grab some things. "Okay baby, I have a heating pad, and some pain killers." I said, putting them on the nightstand. "And here, your dino plush." I handed her Littlefoot, and she cuddled up to him right away. "Thanks babe." She said. "Of course." I told her, kissing her forehead. "Can you hold my hand, while I take the pain killers? I don't like how they taste." She said. "Sure baby." I said, sitting down next to her. Once she got the pill down, she settled in the bed again. "Do you want to watch a movie?" I asked her. "I would like that." She said. I put on the Invader Zim movie, then cuddled in next to her. While watching the movie, I felt Emily squirm next to me. "Does it still hurt babygirl?" I asked her, and she just nodded. She was very close to tears, but I knew what would help her. I pulled my wife, close to my chest, and gently rubbed circles on her back. "I know it hurts my love, I wish I could take the pain away from you." I told her gently, because I really did wish I could. She whimpered, and my heart broke. "Do you have the heating pad on?" I asked her. "Yeah, but it still hurts so bad." She told me. "I know babygirl, you'll be okay." I said, still rubbing her back. A little while later, Emily fell asleep on my chest. She finally looked like she was okay, and resting peacefully. "Sleep well my love, I hope you feel better in the morning." I whispered as I kissed her head. I woke up first the next morning, and noticed Emily was still sleeping soundly. I didn't want to disturb her, so I just laid there scrolling on my phone until she woke up. "Hmm, morning babe." She said, still a little sleepy. She was so adorable when she woke up. "Morning baby, you feeling better?" I asked her, as I brushed the hair out of her eyes. "Yeah, a little better. Thank you for taking care of me." She said, kissing my chest. "Always my love, always."
