A Wedding To Remember
It was a beatiful sunny day in Anaheim California. The sky was a bright blue, not a single cloud blocking out the sun. The temperature was warm but comfortable, as the light drifted into the amusement park known as Disneyland everything seemed to sparkle. This was a special day indeed, for two very special people were getting married. Chris was getting ready for his big day, in his hotel room putting the finishing touches of his tux on. His best friend Ashely at his side, helping him with his hair. She smiled at him, feeling so proud of her bestie. "You look amazing, I'm so proud of you my little Chris." she said kissing him on the cheek. "Thanks Ash, thank you for being here today. You're the best friend a guy could ask for." They hugged, before brushing themselves off and stepping out into the lobby. Ashely was dressed in an ocean blue gown, with her hair done up in a bun. The colours for the wedding were blue and white, a combination that complimeted the husbands to be perfectly. After Ashely and Chris left, Will stepped out into the room taking one last glance at himself. Amber was helping him, also dressed in her bridesmaid gown. "You know alot of people may say that you're lucky to have Chris but the truth is, you guys are both lucky to have found each other." Amber said, moving a lint roller down the arms of Will's tux. "Thanks Amber, I feel like the luckiest man on earth. I believe I met my soulmate back in 2013, now I'm marrying him." Will said with a dreamy smile on his face. Will offered Amber his arm, and they made their way out to the lobby. The wedding was set up magically, in the very centre of the park an archway was on display with rows of chairs. The archway was white with pink roses weaved at the top, and a little pedastal was placed under it where our grooms would excahnge their vows. All of Chris and Will's family and friends showed up, there was a lot of tears amongst them. They were all so happy for them, and so proud. Ashley walked Chris up to the pedastal, and gave him one last kiss before taking her seat. Chris was so excited and nervous to marry Will, when he first started dating he didn't think that marriage was something that he wanted. But when Will proposed to him, all of that changed. There is only one guy for him, and he was going to spend the rest of his life with him. Then it happened, Will came walking up the aisle with Amber. Chris had tears in his eyes, Will looked so handsome. When everyone was seated, the justice of he piece stepped up to pedastal. Guess who was marrying them? Mickey Mouse! It was a Disneyland wedding after all. Mickey stood behind Chris and Will, getting ready to deliver his speech. When it came time for the vows, the guys didn't hesitate to express how they felt. "Chris, when I first met you, I knew you were special. You were so kind, funny, talented, not to mention handsome as heck. I knew I loved you then, ever since that day I have just been falling more and more in love with you. You have accomplished so much, I am beyond proud of you, and I promise to love you, to protect you, to always be here for you no matter what." Will finished his vows with a few tears in his eyes, that he quickly wiped away. Chris was crying a little bit now as well, but he pulled himself together to say his vows. "Will, when I first met you, I knew I liked you. I never thought I would find a guy who was just as nerdy as me, or as goofy as I am sometimes. Then there you were, being everything I never knew I needed in my life. We've been through a lot together as a couple, but I feel like it's made us stronger. You're not only the love of my life, you're also my best friend. I promise to spend my life loving you, protecting you, and being there for you whenever you need me." Well now the entire wedding party was crying, the vows were so beautiful even Mickey was moved by the couple. "With all the power in vested in me, by the state of California and Disneyland, I now pronounce you spouses for life. You may kiss your husband. They kissed, and everyone cheered. It was a beautiful moment. Chris and Will joined hands, and walked out to the car to take them to the reception. At the reception Chris and Will had their first dance as a married couple. The song was till death do us part, it was a magical evening. "so husband, how do you feel?" Chris asked Will, as he stared into his eyes. "I feel so happy, this whole day has been wonderful. I love you so much my amazing husband." "I love you too, forever and always." when the song drew to a close, they shared one last kiss while the fireworks went off. The perfect ending to a perfect day.
